ROLE

TVbeat is witnessing accelerated global growth and a greater volume of TV client deployments across Europe and specific client delivery customisations are being forecasted. As a result, we are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Project Manager to work closely with our European clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Be fully accountable for the successful continuous deployment of STB/RPD data processing projects within Europe from data assessment/scoping phase, to successfully finalise deployment with leading Pay TV Platforms.
• Engage with key technical and operational stakeholders at our clients to manage their expectations and ensure their project launch requirements are taken into account.
• Ensure projects are delivered are met within scope, time and budget. 
• Manage strong continuous delivery culture showing leadership and engagement with our internal teams and customer teams to achieve maximum client satisfaction.
• Act as the key customer interface to deliver accurate and transparent reporting on progress, and highlight any key challenges both internally and to the client. 
• Specify clear technical requirements and liaise with internal technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of technical development

CLIENT DELIVERY

• Coordinate all technical & operations aspects to ensure excellent continuous delivery of a deployed project and specific further development to apply client customisations.
• Update key internal and external stakeholders on delivery status updates/challenges/revisions.
• Ensure seamless hand-over to Customer Success upon project delivery to help start the onboarding and training process.

Success is measured by meeting or exceeding mutually agreed KPIs.

TECHNOLOGIES WE WORK WITH:

• Rust (our web services are written using Actix)
• A combination of specialised in-house data storage engines, Redis, and SQLite
• Data Science tooling (R/Python/SaS/Knime)
• *Nix for builds & deployments
• Angular and React for the front-end

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous project management or client-facing solutions architect experience (5+ years) in the Ad Tech, SaaS, Big data, or TV Media industry is a requirement.
• Entrepreneurial drive to get things done and deliver in the best way, thinking in new ways in a startup environment.
• Thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Be able to understand and analyse complex raw datasets and work in tandem with the integration engineers
• Solid understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable software and/or cloud-based products.
• Ability to drive both strategic decisions and operational tasks
• Performance driven mindset with a strong motivation to lead professionally
• Ability to work and communicate in a fast paced international environment 
• Bachelor degree minimum from a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) or Business Administration
