Role

Reporting to the Processing team lead, the processing engineer builds foundational libraries used in the tvbeat data processing pipeline and helps integration engineers apply our product to new areas. The libraries are written in Rust and must perform well to digest large volumes of data.

Responsibilities

• developing and maintaining the processing framework
• investigating new optimization and improvement opportunities in the processing pipeline
• developing new customer-facing functionality
• participating in code reviews
• keeping an open eye for new technologies

Who you are

• you enjoy writing maintainable, efficient, and portable code
• you possess in-depth understanding of platforms and operating systems you employ
• you pay attention to details of the design and the implementation
• you study and contribute to free software
• you are fluent in English

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, especially processing high volumes of data
• excellent proficiency in at least one major programming language
• familiarity with Rust, at at least an intermediate level
• experience building APIs
