This leads to better inventory utilization, evolving from spot-sell to data-driven impression-based selling: eliminating zero-rated inventory and extending audience reach towards nonlinear sources such as on-demand and streaming.

About the Role
We’re looking for tvbeat's first People Lead. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to look after our best asset - our people. This is a vital role - you’ll be working with tvbeat's leadership to champion our culture and develop People practices that support high engagement and performance. You'll also be a trusted advisor to our team leads - providing coaching and guidance as we continue to grow.
This is a truly exciting role for an intelligent, driven, self-motivated HR generalist who has a track record of delivery either in early-stage start-ups or within the TV industry.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting team leads with the recruitment and offer process - helping them define roles, write compelling job specs, build interview scorecards and extend offers to candidates
Delivering an engaging onboarding process which helps new staff integrate into tvbeat quickly
Building practices around feedback and performance that enable our team and support their development
Creating a clear compensation philosophy and a consistent approach to reward at tvbeat
Championing our culture by embedding our values into every one of our People practices
Performing all HR administration - such as creating employment contracts and paperwork, managing our HRIS, dealing with staff queries and assisting with payroll
Working on initiatives to boost our employer brand and help attract the best talent to tvbeat
Supporting our team leads to help them build and retain high-performing teams and manage change well
Helping our leaders to leverage their strengths while addressing areas for growth and improvement through coaching.
What We’re Looking For From You:
Strong HR generalist skills - you have experience crafting impactful People practices and processes across the full employee life cycle and can confidently take responsibility for developing and executing our People frameworkYou've run team engagement surveys and action planning initiatives before - and put feedback from the team at the centre of your work.

Great relationship-building skills - you're empathetic and have the ability to build trust quickly across multiple countries and cultures.
Outstanding communication skills - you're confident coaching, influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels

You're proactive and resourceful - and enjoy taking a practical 'hands-on' approach
You have experience working with distributed teams based across multiple countries (particularly across the UK, Eastern Europe and the US)
